Parka, Duffel Coat and Anorak

Collage and pencil drawing

21 x 30 cm

This is a small work in the etymology series. I was wondering about the origin of three common forms of coat all of which are use to protect against harsh weather.

The parka is a Russian fur coat, the anorak is an Inuit term and the duffel coat is named after a town producing woolen cloth.
